Bell Let's Talk Day 2017 - What Does Mental Health Mean to You?

Bell Let’s Talk Day is January 25, 2017. During the day, Bell will donate 5 cents towards mental health initiatives in Canada by counting every text, call, tweet, Instagram post, Facebook video view and Snapchat geofilter.  It’s a day to communicate, raise awareness, talk to each other and learn.

What does mental health mean to you? SSO staff members and volunteers provided their answers that included:

“It’s okay to talk about it. You are not alone. You matter.”

“Easy access to support services for individuals and families 24 hours a day. Eliminate the stigma.”

“Timely access to quality care.”

“Having the tools to be able to cope with life’s challenges, to participate fully in your community and having a supportive social system to set you up for success.”
