SSO Scholarship Program Official Rules
Applicants must complete the application in its entirety, including all attachments.
Applicants must be planning to attend school in the 2013/2014 year.
Applicants who are reapplying must enclose their most recent transcript.
Applicants must submit their completed applications on or before the specified due date. In this case, April 30, 2014.
The Schizophrenia Society of Ontario is not responsible for lost, stolen or misdirected mail. To ensure your application is received, please provide a valid email address and telephone number so the organization can confirm your submission was received.
Applications will be evaluated by the following criteria:
Quality of references
Quality of personal essay
Success in dealing with the illness (if applicable)
Appropriateness of academic and or vocational goals
Applications submitted become property of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and will not be returned.
Winners of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario Scholarship Program grant the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario permission to use their name, likeness, essay and application for the promotion of the organization and the program without any further consent from the applicant.
Applicants selected for a Schizophrenia Society of Ontario Scholarship are not guaranteed the entire amount they apply for. Amounts do not typically exceed $5000.
Applicants must sign and return the Terms and Conditions to be considered for a scholarship.
